The NFL preseason officially kicked off this past Thursday with the Hall of Fame Game.
We know preseason games feature backups and players fighting for opportunities, but Thursday night’s Hall of Fame Game was fun to watch. The Carolina Panthers walked off the Arizona Cardinals with the Panthers Quarterback Haynes King rushing in a touchdown with no time left on the clock. The Panthers won 33-30, and it was filled with deep passes down the field by both teams. Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Carson Beck put on a good show in the first half. He finished the game 15 of 19 for 188 yards and a touchdown before Kedon Slovis replaced him.
NFL News and Notes:
Mike and Pete also discussed the recent news from around the NFL these past few days. This included three running backs being paid and a scuffle during training camp practice between a Quarterback and a defensive end from the same team.
Season Predictions:

Hall of Fame Class of 2026:
The new players being inducted today include Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald Jr., Adam Vinatieri, Luke Kuechly, and Roger Craig.
