This latest season of The Terror really takes viewers into a psychological thriller, for sure. Who is not afraid of being locked away in a mental health facility just for trying to defend the person you love? That is exactly what happens to Pepper (Dan Stevens) as he attempts to help his girlfriend from a hostile ex. Only in this case, Pepper is locked inside with a powerful and murderous entity.

The third season was created by Victor LaValle, who is an author by trade.

Pepper gets a break from the officers he accidentally hit when they rushed him during his altercation with his girlfriend’s ex-husband. Instead of taking him to jail, where he would be booked on a felony, they take him to the New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital.

There, he meets the other hospital residents, and he needs all the help he can get because an entity sees potential in Pepper. The third season also stars CCH Pounder, Stephen Root, Chinaza Uche, b, Judith Light, and John Benjamin Hickey.
