The new home for So Many Shows!

It has been far too long since So Many Shows has had a website, and now we are back!

We have been covering more than just TV shows recently, and it was time for a new home to showcase the So Many Mashups Podcast, which contributor Pete started last year. The future of So Many Shows and So Many Mashups looks to be bigger and bigger each week. There are So Many Shows coming up in the next few months that we are planning to cover.

The Westies:

We loved the show Bosch, starring Titus Welliver. Well, this is his latest project after Bosch: Legacy‘s cancellation, which is still a sore point for me. The Westies is an MGM+ Crime Drama set in New York in the 1980s, centered on the Westies criminal gang. The show also stars J.K. Simmons, Tom Brittany, Jessica Frances Dukes, and Stanley Morgan.

The show starts on July 12th, with the first two episodes dropping, then weekly episodes thereafter. It is a show Pete and I will be covering on the So Many Mashups Podcast. So keep an eye out for those episodes, which will start dropping soon.

Silo:

The third season of Silo started up on July 3rd, and the show is a fan favorite of the So Many Shows contributors. I am still catching up on the previous two seasons, and as soon as I am caught up, we will discuss the third season on the So Many Mashups Podcast.

The Walking Dead: Dead City:

Another show going into its third season is The Walking Dead: Dead City. Another favorite show of Pete and Mike. The show stars Jefferey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan and is set in New York City after the events of the television series The Walking Dead. The third season is set to start on July 26th on AMC and AMC+.

Dark Matter:

I have recently added AppleTV to my streaming platforms, and one of the first shows Pete suggested we cover is Dark Matter. I watched an episode at a time, and we discussed each one for the So Many Mashups Podcast. Those podcasts will be released one at a time, leading up to the season 2 premiere on August 28th.

Dark Matter follows Jason Dessen (Joel Edgerton), a professor at a school, who is kidnapped and transported to an alternate dimension. Who kidnapped him? Why himself, from another dimension. Why? Well, the other Jason, or Jason B as Mike and Pete refer to him, who made a mistake in his past and wants Jason A’s life. Weird, I know, but the show is a science fiction series created by Blake Crouch, based on his 2016 novel Dark Matter.

As you can see, we have a lot of shows planned to be covering this summer, so keep checking in on SMSMashups.com for new content.

I have been working with So Many Shows for about 4 years now, and have enjoyed discussing the shows, movies, and sports topics with my fellow SMS Crew. I hope you enjoy the new website, as we officially combined So Many Shows and So Many Mashups into on site. Thank you to everyone who reads the posts and Podcasts we post.
